Lauren Wilman

Lauren Wilman, an Associate Attorney with the Vethan Law Firm, is a graduate of South Texas College of Law Houston. Prior to law school, she received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in Business Management and a Minor in Biology. After her undergraduate studies, she went on to receive her Master of Healthcare Administration at The University Of Houston – Clear Lake campus in the Texas Medical Center.

While in graduate school, she worked as a Network Engineer and Cybersecurity Specialist for a healthcare IT company that provided full-service installation and administration of network security for physician offices, hospitals, free-standing emergency rooms, and government agencies. During her time there, she began developing and implementing HIPAA privacy & security compliance programs in addition to conducting Security Risk Assessments, Network Penetration Testing, and Breach Response & Notification.

Before joining the Vethan Law Firm she served as a corporate compliance officer and subject-matter expert for clients in the healthcare and technology industry.
